How to use:
When you copy brushes to your hard drive, it is best to put the brush libraries into the Brushes folder at the root of the Corel Painter X installation folder.
Put the folder "mixed media brushes" in the brushes folder for where your version of Corel Painter is installed.
Once in the correct location, use the 'Load Library' option from the
respective Brushes palette/Brush Selector Bar menu.
My idea behind these brushes was to emulate natural mixed media as much as possible, though I may have got carried away.
Brushes include:
pencils and chalk: for shading and drawing, chalk, pastel, water colour pencil
pen and ink: inking and pen work
felt pens: felt pens and markers
water colour: washes, splatty effects- use these with the water colour tools and blenders for digital watercolor.
dry acrylic: soft and blendable basic paint bristles
blendy paint: wet and mix paint
blend and smooth: splatty stuff and blendy
varnish: varnish effects
